Happy Birthday Jazmin! Praying for our Beautiful Girl.

It was a gorgeous summer day as I wheeled Jazmin towards the mall yesterday, to buy her parents a 25th wedding anniversary present.

As we were going across the crosswalk, we saw some smiling faces through a car window.

They rolled down their window.

“Jazmin we’re praying for you, we love you, Happy Birthday!”

My heart did a weird thing. Those words have so much weight in them, and yet they can make a person feel like they are being transported to a light and heavenly place.

We’re praying for you.

My daughter-in-law Jazmin is 22 years old and has stage 4 adrenal cancer, which has also moved to her kidney’s and lungs. She now wears an oxygen tank 24/7.

Those four words spoken from a car window as we passed by, were the most precious sentence a person could ever say to Jazmin.

That’s all she needs to hear, and she knows you care.

They bring her strength and hope. Words of prayer carry her through her most painful days. They cover her with peace and make her feel loved.

If you see a cancer patient, and you don’t know what to say, just say, “I’m praying for you.”

Then say a prayer as you walk away, and if they come to your mind again the next day, pray for them again.

Jazmin and her niece, Alice.

Your prayers mean more to a cancer patient than you will ever know.

Today is Jazmin’s 22nd Birthday. Would you say a prayer for her today as a present from you to her?

Pray, God carries her through her toughest days.

Pray, he gives her peace.

Pray if there is a cure for her cancer, God will lead her to the cure.

Pray she can have days where she can have energy.

Pray she keeps being a shining light for Jesus, as she battles the cancer within her.

Pray she is filled with joy, even on her hardest days.

Pray God will give her more time with those who love her.

Thank you, for the wonderful prayers you have sent up for Jazmin!

Happy Birthday to our beautiful, courageous, lovely, caring, sweet Jazmin. May God bless you richly as you continue to live each day loving and serving your Jesus!
