Dancing with Fall

I look out the window

Sunshine is glowing

Leaves are falling

Fall whispers my name

Come dance with me

I call Mom

I take her to the dance

We walk the path

Red, orange and yellow

Our cheeks are pink

Eyes are bright

We chat as we wander

A magical land

Where problems fade

We dance together

Laughing with our date

Fall we call him

He bows and swirls

Captures our hearts

We are filled once again

With beauty.

  1. Cindy, your beautiful words took me to a place I haven’t been in over four years. Laura and I love spending time in the mountains, especially during fall. I am ashamed to admit how much I take for granted. It’s easy to love and enjoy God’s luxuries when everything seems in order. Life has caused a sense of appreciation for even the smallest of His details! Bless you for your portrait of words.

    1. You and Laura more than any couple I know deserve a weekend to dance with Fall! Your serving hearts touch so many, I hope your future is full of fall moment! Thanks Jay for the encouragement🍁
