Many women dream of flowers, chocolates and gifts
But you have given me presents that surpass them all
One evening you rubbed my feet after a long day
I was tired and you sat down on the couch beside me
Later you took our son’s medication up to him
You came downstairs with all the things he had collected
I saw you put everything away as I rested on the couch
Autism makes Kyle grab everything around him
Each morning you shower our grown son
Then you brush his teeth and give him his vitamins
I watched you one day when you didn’t know I was there
Your arms were wrapped around Kyle in a big bear hug
He stepped back and looked up at you and smiled
You are the sun moon and stars to him
But to me, you are my Valentine.
